Managing Partner, Investments
Stephen is a 25-year real estate investor, lender, and operator. During his career, he has been responsible for acquiring, repositioning, and developing more than two million square feet of residential, retail, and mixed-use properties in various US markets. Stephen has a deep understanding of the interlocking components of the real estate investment process, including opportunity analysis, feasibility and due diligence, entitlement, financing, and asset disposition.
Greg Selfridge
Managing Partner, Investments
Greg is a seasoned real estate professional with years of experience in project entitlements, construction, capital structuring, and finance. As a Managing Partner of NOVO Properties, Greg is responsible for corporate strategy, acquisitions, and marketing. At NOVO, Greg has overseen the acquisition, rehabilitation, and management of over $350MM in multifamily real estate assets, including repositioning, value-add, and ground-up development. Greg has a strong background in entitlements and project structuring. As a mayoral appointee, he served on the DC Zoning Commission from 2008 to 2009 where he oversaw large-scale developments including PUD’s, Campus Plans, and Master Planned developments.
Bruce W. Hurd
Managing Partner, Finance
Bruce has a long and diverse career in finance, investment banking, and the capital markets. He began his career at Credit Suisse as an investment banker responsible for the structuring, underwriting, and syndicating of large industrial projects. Bruce oversaw the execution and syndication of over $2 billion in new projects and the mergers and acquisitions of independent power companies. In 2002, Bruce co-founded NOVO Properties, a Washington, DC real estate development, management, and investment firm. Bruce is responsible for corporate governance, risk management, capital formation, and finance.
Neil Goradia
Partner
Neil is a skilled real estate executive with almost 20 years of experience working across various platforms, including market rate apartments, affordable housing, and public/private partnerships. He is an expert in entitlements, project design, and development and has overseen $500MM + of projects during his career. Neil has focused his efforts in the Mid-Atlantic, where he has acquired, entitled, and developed projects in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Working for a national multifamily builder, Neil spearheaded its development activities in Maryland, where he developed two mixed-use developments with over 500 market-rate apartment units and ground-floor retail. Additionally, Neil has worked on mixed-use and residential developments in Virginia, including Fairfax County, Prince William County, and the City of Alexandria.

Zachary M. Fishman
Director, Compliance
Zach has ten years of experience as an investor, lender, and operator of commercial real estate. He earned his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and previously practiced real estate law in New York City. Zach’s experience and legal training enable him to provide detailed oversight of all investment activity, including deal structuring, due diligence, and partnership and loan agreements. He serves as a Principal at Pantheon Capital Funding, LLC, a private lender focused on mezzanine and first trust lending throughout the Washington, DC region.
Loreen Goldstein
Director, Investor Relations
During her career, Loreen has successfully managed various aspects of the real estate investment and management business. From leasing to operations, marketing, investor relations, and communication, Loreen possesses a keen insight into the inner workings of a successful real estate investment and operating company. Concurrent to her role at Helios Capital Management, Loreen serves as the Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for NOVO Properties. She is responsible for investor communications, project subscriptions, capital calls, generating and distributing quarterly investor reports, allocating project distributions, and ensuring timely and accurate financial and tax reporting.
